Behind The Brand

I'm Melissa, owner of BioKitten Beauty!

I'm a skincare-loving nerd from Central West NSW, Australia. I'm a scientist and busy mum by day, and a sloth by night.

I'll be honest — while I love getting dolled up and feeling pretty, I’ve never been a fan of heavy makeup. Even as a teen, the feeling of thick foundation on my face gave me the ick (hello sensory overload!).

Instead of packing on layers of make up, I turned my focus on skincare, learning how to care for my skin so I could feel confident without needing to pile on the products.

That same mindset is what inspired BioKitten Beauty!

Combined with my background in science, I've created high-quality products that help empower your confidence to be your fierce and fabulous self.
